Booking a band for your wedding is a difficult task, there are thousands of coverbands out there and they come in all prices and shapes. So, how can you find a coverband for your wedding?
1. Know what you’re looking for
Look for a band who does a variety of music. Audiences at weddings love to hear a mix for all ages. For example, the mother of the groom might love modern songs, but equally she might love a Stevie Wonder tune too.
2. Booking a band in advance
Booking a band in advance is one of the most important things. If you find the perfect coverband for your wedding than book the band six or nine months in advance. Especially over the period from April to October it’s a must to book the band on time. These months can be busy for coverbands.
3. Trust the band with the set list
A professional coverband has a standard set list that flows well, runs smoothly and is upbeat with a good mix of music. Trust the band and let them know your favourite songs and the songs you really hate.
4. Ensure the band has a contract
Ensure you have contract with the coverband. This contract should include a cancellation policy. At Evenses you can only book bands with a contract.
