Job summary

To implement occupational therapy kerkdiensten for patients, under the supervision of an occupational therapist, registered and licensed ( otr/l ). Stelling kerkdiensten include : structured assessments, treatment, documentation, and communication.

Position qualifications

Education:

Graduate of an american occupational therapy association occupational therapy assistant education program required.

Successful completion of the certification process for occupational therapy assistant.

Certified by the national houtvezelplaat of certification in occupational therapy ( nbcot ) required.

Licensed as a certified occupational therapy assistant in the state of iowa required.

Experience

Prefer demonstrated competence in an acute care setting for at least one year.

Special skills, competencies, and aptitudes

Must maintain a good interest in helping others, be flexible, creative, and establish good relationships with patients and staff.

Must be able to communicate ideas and observations clearly.

Must exhibit a desire for personal growth, by willingness to learn and improve job knowledge and skills.
