Chemical peeling treatment

A chemical peeling treatment is a treatment in which the skin is treated with a (high) concentration of acid to renew and improve the skin. At Van Lennep Kliniek, we offer different types of facial peels, such as the Intense Peeling treatment.

The Intense Peeling treatment is a medium-intensity chemical peeling treatment consisting of a mix of salicylic acid, TCA and lactic acid. This peeling treatment removes the upper skin layers and stimulates the underlying skin layers. The result is a more even skin tone and improved skin texture.

The treatment starts by cleansing the skin and applying the peeling treatment. After the treatment, the skin may feel dry and look red. After a few days, the skin will start flaking, which may persist for about a week.

The Intense Peeling treatment is suitable for various skin problems, such as acne, melasma, sun-damaged skin, ageing skin, coarse skin texture and large pores.
